Known for her theatricality, Annaliese Szota fronts her live music gigs with her piano, ukulele and loop pedal.
During her time as a ‘cool’ Sydney-inner-west musician in her twenties, she supported The Whitlams, Marcia Hines, Tim Rogers of You Am I, Passenger, and Deborah Conway. She managed to wrangle her way onto stages such as The Basement, The Camelot Lounge, The Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre, and various Festivals throughout Australia and around the world. She has now returned to the south to rediscover life in the leafy Shoalhaven.
Annaliese Szota has just been on the receiving end of a Shoalhaven Arts Board grant to write, record and perform a brand new EP, ‘Hearthstone’. More news to come soon!
